Simulates fluid flow in 3D porous rocks with the lattice Boltzmann method. Uses image-based modelling and machine learning to estimate effective transport parameters such as permeability and tortuosity. First author of the Top Tier, Editor’s Pick paper on 3D porous-rock flow in Physics of Fluids (2025), and co-author of several LBM and deep-learning studies on digital rock characterization.
