19 Nov 2026 We are hosting the 2nd iRocks Workshop in Sumedang Research Laboratory · Universitas Padjadjaran

Digital Rock Physics
& Remote Sensing Lab

From grains to landscapes. We turn image data into quantitative understanding of the Earth, from flow simulations in reservoir rocks to deep learning on satellite images.

01About the lab

Image-driven science across scales.

A computational earth-science group at Universitas Padjadjaran. We build physics-based and data-driven methods that pull numbers from images, from micro-CT rock scans to satellite views.

  • Rigorous computation. Physics-based and data-driven models, run on our own server.
  • Open data. Public datasets and methods others can reuse.
  • Indonesian field problems. Real questions from local rocks, rivers, and cities.
  • Students first. We train them to work where these three meet.
